About the role

Your role Used Car Sales Controller based at Bishops Stortford Land Rover will be to support the Sales Team to identify appropriate vehicle, funding and additional products, based on individual customer's suitability and requirements. We are looking for a committed and motivated individual to embrace the challenge of collaboratively leading a successful Car Sales Department. You will be responsible for managing vehicle sales processes whilst achieving and exceeding sales and profit objectives. You'll need to motivate and develop the sales team, ensuring each customer receives excellent customer service. The sales process will be fully compliant, whilst meeting agreed profitability targets and providing customers with a premium service throughout.

What we're looking for:
  • Previous management experience gained from within the automotive industry would is essential
  • Proven track record in successfully coaching and developing people in a sales environment
  • Ability to work well under pressure, consistently meet deadlines and handle the demands of a fast moving business
  • Excellent relationship building, customer facing and negotiating skills
  • Possesses an energy and genuine regard for the importance of the customer to the sustainability of the business
  • Driven, organised and able to multi-task
  • Reliable, honest, respectful with a strong sense of integrity
  • A full and valid UK Driving Licence
