UK Sales Manager, Electrical Products, National Role from Midlands Base, £55,000 Basic, £70,000 OTE + Car, bonuses and extensive benefits. This is a superb National Sales Management sales role with a 'household name' manufacturer. The position is managing the team that looks after the national electrical wholesalers, builder's merchants and security distributors.

To apply your sales management experience must be managing sales teams that sell into trade outlets such as the national builder's merchants, electrical wholesalers, security distributors or similar.

This is a varied and pivotal role with an emphasis on developing the staff to greater success and working with the reseller channels to help them win larger end-user contractor business. The position requires a large amount of original thinking to create new opportunities and is backed by dedicated marketing staff. This management role is strongly data-driven to spot opportunities for both business growth and staff development. It requires someone with an enterprising growth mindset that is renowned for their innovative ideas and commercial flair.

The role reports to the Group Sales Director and involves considerable networking with overseas colleagues to capitalise on opportunities.

* You will have at least 2-5 years of Sales Management experience and be well connected and regarded within the large electrical distributors, builder's merchants, tool sheds or security distributors;

* You will be enthusiastic, socially sophisticated, decisive, assertive and confident yet not arrogant;

* You will be a team player, that values working closely with analysts and trade marketing staff to maximise account opportunity;

* You will be a self-motivated sales professional that enjoys working autonomously;

* You will be focused, well-disciplined and enjoy working in a 'smart' strategic way to maximise your time;

This is a UK National sales Management role, and your location ideally will be in the Midlands. The position is managing a team across the UK, and as such, you are expected to spend a couple of nights per week away from home.
