UK Sales Key Account Manager, Electrical Products, £68,000 Basic Salary, £80,000 OTE + car, or allowance, and significant benefits package. This is a superb corporate sales role with a 'household name' manufacturer that is perceived as the market-leading brand for quality and cost-effectiveness. The position is managing large electrical and security distributors and acquiring new accounts while working with European colleagues to maximise account penetration.

To apply you must be in a Key Accounts, National Accounts or Major Accounts role selling into the significant electrical wholesalers, electrical distributors or security distributors.

This is a varied and pivotal role with an emphasis on account development with the major distributors while focusing on business acquisition with high use end-users. The position requires a large amount of original thinking to create new opportunities and is backed by dedicated marketing staff. The role is strongly data-driven to spot prospects yet needs someone with a growth mindset that is enterprising and renowned for their innovative ideas and commercial flair.

The role reports into the European Sales Director and involves considerable networking with numerous overseas colleague to capitalise on opportunities to achieve sustainable account growth.

To apply:

You will have at least 2-5 years of B2B sales experience and be well connected and regarded within the large electrical distributors or security distributors;

You will probably be working for a significant international manufacturer selling into electrical distributors or security distributors;

Candidates will be considered that meet the criteria below yet are perhaps the notch below this role in terms of salary, status and account exposure;

* You will be a graduate, or of graduate calibre, that is highly motivated and ambitious;

* As you will be working with pan-European colleagues on a daily basis, you must have solid interpersonal and networking skills. An extra European language will be a bonus;

* You will be highly commercially creative and possess bold ideas for new account acquisition;

* You will be enthusiastic, socially sophisticated, decisive, assertive and confident yet not arrogant;

* You will be a team player, that values working closely with analysts and trade marketing staff to maximise account opportunity;

* You must have the ability to establish strong business partnerships with staff at all levels from trade counter to C-Suite of huge multinational corporate businesses;

* Your experience will be from a large, probably multinational or pan-European, corporate business;

* You will be a self-motivated sales professional that enjoys working autonomously;

* You will be focused, well-disciplined and enjoy working in a 'smart' strategic way to maximise your time;

* Above all, we are looking for a consummate account manager that is hugely service focused and driven by sustainable mutual growth that will be achieved by ensuring that your account growth strategy is aligned to the aims of your client base.

This is a UK National field-based role, and your location ideally will be South of the Midlands where most of the client HQ offices are based.
