Trainee Software Sales person

 

Based London

 

£30k Basic, £50k OTE  

 

 

Our client are a Global supplier of artificial intelligence (AI) technology and financial software to businesses predominantly in Europe. Established only 3 years ago, they are expanding rapidly and now have offices in 5 countries. The UK office in Central London has had an excellent 2018 so needs to recruit a Trainee Software Sales person to replace the previous incumbent who has been promoted to Field Sales within their first year.

 

The role is 90% desk based with the flexibility to attend face to face sales meetings where the value and importance are agreed to merit it. Your role will be predominantly to arrange appointments for the Field Sales team. You will prospect for new opportunities within agreed target vertical sectors, qualifying the business need and recording this information in our CRM. You will learn our products and offering so as to be able to professionally present them over the phone to prospective clients.

 

Successful applicants will ideally have a minimum of 2 years sales experience, preferably within a Business to Business targeted Sales Environment. Ideally currently in an Internal sales role and well educated to degree level, you will have the ability to both create New Business on the phone and show the aptitude and drive to move forward into a Field Sales role when one arises.

 

This is an amazing opportunity for a fairly inexperienced Salesperson to break into software sales.
