SIG Plc is currently looking to recruit a Territory Sales Manager who will have responsibility for a portfolio of accounts within Colchester/Essex region. We are building on our leading position in the market to drive sustainable growth, profitability and increased customer value.
What does the role involve?
As Territory Sales Manager you will provide a solution based sales approach to both existing and new customers. You will be expected to develop, plan and work against targets within your territory. With allocated customers, you will plan and develop approximately 60 existing accounts, whilst allocating around 30% of your time to new business development. There is a strong focus on field activities like customer, construction site and developer site visits and will require the ability to sell across the full SIGD portfolio based on identifying customer needs.
The successful candidate will be required to show experience in building lasting relationships and have the drive, capability and confidence to make personal visits, presentations and calls to both existing and new customers. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to think creatively, with high ethical standards and will need to be professional, well-organized and a self-directed individual whilst being eloquent, communicative and assertive. To help you achieve your potential, you will be supported by the Regional Sales Manager who will provide mentoring and coaching.
You will work closely with other SIGD external and internal sales roles to maximise customer value where large national customers are delivering on construction projects within your territory.
To be a successful Territory Sales Manager you will have proven experience in sales in B2B industries and have strong analytical and data management skills. Ideally you will have experience of using Salesforce CRM and strong MS Office is expected.
