A leading Media business are seeking to recruit a Telesales Manager to establish and build a new team in an outbound, new business environment.

Client Details

Our client are a leading Media business with a superb proposition and enviable client base. As part of their growth strategy they are seeking to recruit a Telesales Manager for a new arm of their business.


Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;

  • Training - The Telesales Manager is responsible for creating the training course, training material and ensuring a high standard of training both induction and ongoing skill development training is carried out on a regular basis. The Tele-Sales Manager will be expected to monitor calls in order to ensure that appropriate training is given and that high standards of professionalism are also maintained.
  • Productivity - The role involves ensuring that agreed call levels and agreed productivity and activity standards of performance are met and maintained. In addition agreed ratio's of pitches to orders and also average order values are also reached and maintained.
  • Administration - The company has a CRM system which must be fully and properly utilised at all times. Plus there are standards and procedures for credit vetting and securing signed orders from approved clients that must also be maintained.
  • Errors - Misunderstandings and errors must be kept to an absolute minimum through ethical selling and proper administration of orders - ie. all orders must be signed before delivery commences of a service.
  • New ideas - The role actively requires the Telesales Manager to put forward ideas to keep motivation levels high as well as new ideas for new products or services or better systems to improve the tele-sales operation
  • Literature. To develop and improve client literature so that it is fresh and effective at all times.
  • Recruitment - It is important that the quality of the team is assured by the recruitment of staff who have been professionally trained and who have a professional attitude to securing customers and closing deals over the telephone.


Applicants should be able to demonstrate a track record of building teams in an outbound sales environment.

Commutable to Manchester you should be comfortable with recruiting, training and developing teams in a new business environment.

Job Offer

Up to £50,000 plus uncapped bonus earning potential.
