My client is a market leader in the construction industry specialising in providing high quality new business wins. They currently have a thriving telesales business development team which they are looking to grow. They are looking for a driven individual who is looking to start a fast paced and exciting career.

Michael Page is excited to partner with a new up and coming Surrey based client, who is looking to appoint a Telesales Account Manager. My client represents the construction industry and provides them with a dedicated account manager to generate new business wins. As a market leader in this industry they are experiencing a huge amount of growth and are looking to expand the team.

The ideal candidate will have previously worked within a fast paced sales environment, managing the entire sales process and capable of establishing meaningful relationships with C-level clients.

Description

The Telesales Account Manager is responsible for generating new business. They will work closely with their account and the Sales Manager to build pipeline and develop prospective leads. They will be responsible for managing the process from initial identification of new opportunity through to close.

The Account Manager will have the confidence and ability to promote and sell our client's solutions and products. They will have the tenacity to pursue and close deals with long lead-times and the ability to articulate the products of our client's to prospective customers.

The Account Manager will engage proactively with the prospect on a consultative basis to learn its business, understand its challenges and anticipate its needs.

Profile

  • 1-2yrs sales experience in New Business Sales role

  • Strong 'Hunter' mentality, highly self-motivated, tenacious, dynamic and ambitious

  • Proven sales track record in achieving or exceeding annual sales targets

  • Consultative sales expertise and approach across a diverse portfolio

  • Strong relationship building skills and ability to open new sales opportunities

  • Sales experience selling into the construction industry is highly desirable.
