As we continue to expand the growth and demand for mental health care within businesses via Employee Assistance Programmes and Private Medical Healthcare, we are looking to appoint Counsellors who can join our team. The ideal candidate will be looking to build upon their existing clinical skills and knowledge and to develop this further via our in-house Continued Professional Development programme created by our own team of psychologists who lead our clinical delivery.

In this role, you will be supporting employees of businesses who have contracts with us to provide mental health care. Your role will be to provide clinical support via support calls, therapy assessments and delivering contracted therapy sessions via various formats. You will play a key role in determine what is the best clinical way forward for individuals and help navigate them to the right type of intervention. You will have the opportunity to work with a vast array of mild, moderate to severe clinical presentations. This can be from stress, anxiety, depression to attachment difficulties, substance abuse, trauma and personality disorders. You will also have the unique prospect to deliver managerial consultancy, providing guidance to managers who may be experiencing distress around their role.
You will be working within a multi-disciplinary team and be fully supported within the counselling team with access to psychologists for clinical escalation. We are looking for someone who can work across Monday to Sunday, between the hours of 8am and 11pm. Part time working hours will be considered, with the minimum being 22.5 hours per week.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Post-Graduate Diploma in Counselling (any theoretical orientation) or equivalent, as well as being a member of an accredited body, such as BACP or BABCP and working towards your accreditation. In addition, you will have experience of working with adults from age 16+ within a professional context. Ideally, this will have been gained within a corporate environment, allowing you to gain skills and knowledge around commerciality, conducting therapy assessments and making clinical recommendations for onward treatment.
