Our client is one of the leading providers of card payment solutions to the SME sector with 28,000 customers and over 170 employees. They’re a business that is going from strength-to-strength and merchant services is a stable and growing sector. As part of their exciting expansion plans within their Haydock based B2B Telesales Team, they are now looking for a talented Telesales Team Manager.
Position: Telesales Team Manager
Location: Haydock, Merseyside (Commutable from St Helens, Warrington, Wigan Liverpool, Greater Manchester and surrounding areas)
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm
Salary: £27k basic + commission & benefits, OTE £37k
About the role:
This is not a standard call centre environment. They don’t work on a dialler, they are not heavily scripted, and their people use their natural sales ability to sell their market leading proposition. It’s a busy role in a fun but focused environment with high levels of recognition and reward.
With a proven track record in first line sales management, you will lead a team of up to 15 B2B agents, taking ownership of lead conversion, call quality and the usual key performance metrics as well as resource planning. Reporting to the Head of Inside Sales, you will work with their Recruitment, Training and HR functions to ensure they are at optimum headcount, driving performance and focusing on employee retention.
Naturally you will need to be a high energy motivator and skilful coach who can inspire performance in others and lead by example.
