Client Details

This award winning tool manufacturer is looking for an ambitious, motivated Technical Sales Manager to join their ever growing team and aid them in their continued success.

Far from your average hand tools, my clients products are used in the manufacture, repair and restoration of highly engineered products. This includes the aerospace industry, manufacture processing industry and industrial engineers. If you have experience selling into some of the UK's largest manufacturing and engineering companies in the UK, please apply below.


The key responsibilities of the Technical Sales Representative are:

  • Develop brand awareness and sales of their products through existing and new distribution partners;
  • Support distribution partners with product demonstrations, product training and providing technical support where needed;
  • Work closely with industrial end-users to identify appropriate tooling solutions;
  • Create new and lasting relationships with end-users;
  • Regular visits to distribution partners and end-users to ensure the continued development of key relationships;


The successful candidate will:

  • Ideally have an engineering background or have spent time in the armed forces as an engineer;
  • Have experience works in a similar role for a hand tool company, with an industrial/manufacturing route-to-market
  • Good commercial knowledge of distribution partners and relevant routes-to-market
  • Consultative selling approach
  • Relevant knowledge of the industrial tooling industry to hit the ground running
  • Have an appropriate home office set up as this is a remote role
  • Flexibility to occasionally travel to the company's head office in Germany
