Remuneration: £45,000-£50,000 + £15,000 bonus

The role of the Technical Sales Manager – Waterproofing Systems will involve:

·         Field sales position selling our clients specialist roofing contractor services within the new-build and refurbishment market for flat and pitched roofing applications

·         Focusing on large scale projects in the London region

·         The majority of your time will be spent generating specifications via mainly; building surveyors, surveyors, facilities managers, large end users, architects, manufacturers and specifiers

·         The remaining portion of your time will be spend selling directly with main contractors

·         Projects will range from £30k up to £300k depending on size, typically dealing with projects around £100k

·         Conducting  CPD’s seminars when required

·         No revenue target in mind first year and however will be looking to add to a revenue turnover of circa £3m

·         Predominantly a new business development position, where you will be expected to follow up with your own contacts, some leads to via manufacturers and internal sales team

·         Will be require to carry out surveys and inspections on site

The ideal applicant will be a Technical Sales Manager – Waterproofing Systems industry with:

·         Must have a proven track record in construction field sales in the waterproofing industry selling via building surveyors, surveyors, facilities managers, large end users, architects, manufacturers and specifiers

·         Must have knowledge / experience with liquid applied roofing, flat roofing systems,

·         waterproofing membrane systems, single ply, felts and liquid systems

·         Must have experience and understanding of architectural technical drawings

·         Ideally sold roofing contractor services / solutions

·         Ability to call on end user clients such as: property owners, procurement managers, bursars, building surveyor practises, facilities managers, managing directors and external consultants

·         Ability to absorb technical information

·         Computer literate
