Job Title: Technical Sales Manager – Plumbing & Heating Products

Area to be covered: Essex, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire & North / East London

Remuneration: £40,000-£45,000 + 20%-25% bonus

The role of the Technical Sales Manager – Plumbing & Heating Products will involve:

·         Technical field sales position selling a high quality manufactured range of gas metal piping solutions/systems such as flexible gas hoses, gas installation hoses, ventilation ducting, ducts, ventilation systems to the construction, gas, industrial, water market sectors

·         Majority of your time will be spent selling to M&E contractors

·         The remaining portion of your time will be spent managing / selling into national & independent plumbers merchants

·         After the first initial 6-8 months will be expected to grow the area in the coming years to £1-£1.5m

·         Average order value will range from £20-30k however large projects can be upwards of £50k

·         Will be expect to regularly update CRM system

The ideal applicant will be an Technical Sales Manager – Plumbing & Heating Products with:

·         Must have experience selling to M&E contractors

·         Must have sold a technical HVAC product

·         Either worked for a manufacturer or worked for a plumber merchants for example; Wolseley or BSS

·         Ideally product backgrounds; boilers, flexible gas hoses, gas installation hoses, ventilation ducting, ducts, ventilation systems, air conditioning units, heat recovery, pumps, valves

·         Ideally be a self-starter from the industry that knows the customer base, ideally with contacts

·         Proficient in utilising CRM system

·         Have strong planning skills with strong territory skills
