Remuneration: £50,000 - £70,000neg (depending on experience) + negotiable bonus

The role of the Technical Sales Manager – Electrical Cable Accessories will involve:
· Technical field sales position selling a wide range of high quality distributed range electrical cable accessories such as: cable clamps, joints, lugs, terminals, cable labels & markers, cable protections systems and fixings
· Selling into the wind & renewable energy, rail & traction, oil & gas, nuclear power plants and major construction industries
· Majority of your time will be spent selling to electrical contractors, rail contractors, electrical switchgear manufacturers, jointing companies, electrical utility companies and M&E contractors; from your one man bands to major contractors such as Balfour Beatty, Skanska, Laing O’Rourke, Western Power and Wind Energy
· The remaining portion of your time will be spent stimulating demand with electrical distributors, electrical wholesalers, merchants & specialist suppliers
· Will be targeted to achieve circa £500k-£1m turnover
· Dealing with order values varying from £2k - £500k for larger projects
· Majority of your time will be spent generating new business relationships however will be given electrical wholesale and M&E contractors accounts
· The territory will incorporate the whole of the country
The ideal applicant will be Technical Sales Manager – Electrical Cable Accessories with:
· Must have experience selling an electrical OR building services product into electrical contractors, rail contractors, electrical switchgear manufacturers, jointing companies, electrical utility companies and M&E contractors
· Would consider someone working within an electrical contractor or electrical wholesalers as a buyer of engineer looking to get into sales
· Must have sold / have in depth knowledge of electrical products such as cable clamps, joints, lugs, terminals, cable labels & markers, cable protections systems and fixings
· Ideally have contacts with the likes of Balfour Beatty, Skanska, Laing O’Rourke, Western Power and Wind Energy
· Must understand the various distributions channels via electrical wholesalers, electrical distributors, merchants
· Demonstrable track record in new business sales generation
· Personable, team player, people person, driven and enthusiastic
