VDA's growth potential has been increased significantly by a fundamental shift in attitudes towards energy management and cost, creating further demand for their BEMS system, MICROMASTER.

MICROMASTER is an intelligent, online room automation and building management solution, custom-designed for the hotel industry. Every room is micro-managed from a central control system. Room climate and environment settings are precisely controlled within hotel-defined energy consumption models, which can be easily modified on a global or individual room basis as required. Guests can alter their room environment but only within the hotel's pre-set limits. The system is capable of managing almost any energy load including climate control, underfloor heating, lighting, mirrors and curtains.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Technical Sales Manager to develop a BEMS division and have real ownership of their work and career.

Description

The Technical Sales Manager is a strategically important position, with the core focus on creating new business demand, developing their routes to market and generating full system sales opportunities for VDA's BEMS solution - MICROMASTER. Key responsibilities:

  • Produce the MICROMASTER sales strategy, aligned with wider business needs.
  • Generate complete system sales opportunities through networking events and quality meetings with Consultants and M&E Consultants.
  • Provide and present CPD presentations to target customers and potential clients.
  • Create a qualified project pipeline and work to convert your pipeline into secured projects, through effective project management and tracking.
  • Be the customer liaison on secured products undertaking site visits, inspections and sign offs.

Profile

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a demonstrable sales track record and a minimum of 10 years' experience in specification sales with an electical product/system.
  • Have strong industry knowledge and technical ability.
  • Be well-networked with M&E Constultants, M&E Contractors and Architects.
  • Be based in the South East of England.
  • Be hardworking, hungry for success and looking to join an innovative, forward thinking company.
