The Role: The successful External design sales engineer will be purely dealing with the end user space, dealing with warehouses, distribution centres, industrial buildings and retailers for example. You will be working from warm leads, speaking to site engineers, store managers, business owners and operations directors. The role involves working to planned appointments, designing systems on site and preparing quotes. Full company and product training is standard here, with ongoing options too.
The Company: For over forty years our client has been providing industrial racking and shelving systems, predominantly metal based. They are now expanding their sales team with this search for a new Technical Sales person in the Midlands, to help grow their £25 million sales turnover.
For this Technical Sales position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
Strong field sales skills
You will have worked in a project or design lead sales environment.
Sales of products which "fill spaces" such as office fit outs, exhibition stands or flooring via Cad/Cam software ideal.
