Technical Product Support Manager – Central Heating

Job Title: Technical Product Support Manager – Central Heating

Industry Sector: Central Heating, Thermostats, Boilers, Receivers, Valves, Pumps, Underfloor Heating, Wiring and Smart Home

Based: South Yorkshire Office

Basic Salary: Up to £35,000

The role of the Technical Product Support Manager – Central Heating will involve:

  • Delivering expert central heating system advice
  • Working closely with the field sales team and approved installers
  • Telephone based role primarily, you will act as the dedicated technical product support manager
  • Product support, and customer facing technical trouble shooting around our clients thermostats
  • First line of support, advising on technical aspects of products
  • Acting as the link between the sales team and the technical department
  • Training product support team
  • Product investigations/ fault finding activities
  • Fixing specific technical problems with internet suppliers’ hubs
  • Testing of new products and apps
  • Provide guidance and share expertise with the product support team
  • Overseeing our clients’ migration from Zendesk to Zoho Desk

The ideal applicant will be a Technical Product Support Manager – Central Heating experience with:

·        Must have knowledge of how central heating systems work

·        Heating/ boiler background

·        Knowledge of valves, pulps, boilers, receivers are all of interest, specific knowledge of thermostats is not required

·        May consider a graduate with heating related qualification

·        Team player

·        Open to candidates who have had hands on experience fitting central heating systems that are now looking for a desk job

·        Flexible in approach

·        Hard working

·        Good communication skills
