Have you worked in an engineering role within the heavy industry - mining, recycling, chemical processing? Our client is a well established Irish distributor of some of the worlds leading brands of conveyor systems and are currently looking for candidates with this experience for a Technical Account Manager role
THE ROLE: Covering half of the country, with flexibility depending on candidate location, the successful applicant will be responsible for selling a range of conveyor systems as well as the associated MRO products into a range of industrial end users including mining, recycling, industrial and chemical processing and agricultural end users. You will be selling to decision makers including plant managers, design engineers, maintenance engineers and procurement in a role that requires the technical knowhow and familiarity with process line to provide a consultative service to your clients. This role will be mainly managing an existing account based, but some new business development will be required.
THE PERSON: Our client is looking for candidates that arrive with a strong engineering background and those that have ideally worked in this sector and have knowledge of conveyor systems. Candidates that have worked as plant managers or maintenance supervisors are sought after. Our client is also willing to talk to candidates that have existing sales experience selling capital equipment into the heavy industrial end user sector.

The sell some world leading branded conveyor systems and due to an improved market, are currently looking to expand their team.
THE PACKAGE FOR TECHNICAL ACCOUNT MANAGER:
Salary: €40,000 - €50,000
