The Apple Online Store is seeking a multifaceted, web savvy content management professional to join the Digital Content Management (DCM) Production team. A large and highly energetic execution group, the numerous teams within DCM work together to deliver the extraordinary online shopping experience expected from Apple. As the Team Manager of the EMEA Digital Content Management team based in London, you will be responsible for managing a team of high performing Content Specialists and handling high profile projects that touch content across multiple online platforms and apps worldwide. From leading product launches to marketing initiatives, major feature changes to daily updates, you and your team’s work will directly impact the experience for millions of Apple customers across the globe who visit the Apple Online Store every single day.

You will be part of a large, tight-knit global team responsible for publishing and maintaining the apple.com/shop and Apple Store App across 38 countries. Our goal is to deliver a magnificent, personal digital experience where customers can shop, buy, and learn everything Apple, wherever they are.

* Managerial experience; demonstrated ability in technology, operations, e-commerce and/or customer support
* Deep experience in catalog management, content and digital asset management, and web production processes
* Demonstrated success in driving business process improvements and optimisation
* Able to think creatively, deal with ambiguity, and manage changing and competing priorities
* Big-picture minded while also extremely detail oriented
* Strong attention to detail, end-to-end ownership, and driving results
* Superlative verbal/written communication, including an ability to effectively connect with both business and technical teams
* Hands on approach, supporting your teams by understanding and guiding through first-hand knowledge of systems, processes, challenges

This critical role leads the London DCM team ensuring timely and quality delivery of content and catalog item set-up to the worldwide Apple Online Store platforms with focus on the EMEA country stores, as Apple expands into new geographies, languages, customer segments, and platforms.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Publishing of new product introductions, new e-commerce feature releases, and marketing campaign and business program launches/updates, from planning to execution, worldwide with focus on EMEA countries

- Hiring, managing, and motivating a team of hard-working content managers

- Growing your people through career development, personal connection and engagement

- Bringing a customer-focused lens end-to-end, with excellent judgement in prioritisation and identifying trade-offs between short-term vs long-term business, and regional vs worldwide needs

- Effectively plan and optimise workload and resources, often under constrained situations

- Partner with DCM leaders worldwide to continuously evolve how we work to improve work efficiencies and team morale

- Partnering with business and technology counterparts to prioritize needs across corporate, platform and regional demands

- Partnering with DCM Solutions, Product Management, and Engineering teams to consult, develop and implement KPIs and technical and process solutions to meet business needs that scale
