Description

The new Strategic Partnerships Manager's role is to ensure continuous business growth by proactively seeking and securing new business opportunities and assisting in the delivery of successful campaigns for their clients.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Prospecting clients by using various different methods including LinkedIn search, networking and databases

  • Initiate contact and start conversations to create opportunity

  • Effectively pitch and present the advantages of the WoM marketing tool

  • Win, negotiate and close campaign deals with new and existing clients

  • Ensure the continuous growth of the accounts you're working on by keeping up to date on market trends, staying relevant and building prosperous relationships with key decision makers

Profile

The successful Strategic Partnerships Manager needs to have

  • 5+ years' experience in business development/sales or marketing, either in a within a marketing agency or FMCG (client side)

  • Experience in networking in the FMCG industry at senior management/board level (large brands would be preferred)

  • Experience in long sales cycles, successfully closing high-value deals with a lead time of over 6 months

  • Understanding of entrepreneurial businesses and environments

  • Commercial awareness in the market

  • Strong network of contacts and links in the FMCG industry

  • A university degree
