Strategic Account Manager – Software Sales
£72k Basic, £144k OTE + Healthcare, Pension, Critical illness cover, Car or car allowance.
Working from home role with weekly visits to East Midlands office.
Our Client is a Global software company with a turnover of almost £200 million pa. They have 20 software solutions for various different markets and have a customer base of around 2,000.The product in question has been in existence for almost 30 years and is a niche market with the majority of customers being in the financial industry. Due to ongoing success, we are now seeking to recruit an additional Strategic Sales Account Manager.
We are looking for a Strategic Account Manager to join us and look after our Client’s Tier 1 accounts. This person will be responsible for developing relationships with Financial clients, upselling within existing accounts and expanding accounts across the UK & globally. Rough deal sizes can be from £50,000 -£2,000,000 and have a sale cycle between 3 and 18 months. .
The ideal applicant will have a background in sales within a software company. You will have at least 5 years above target sales experience within this environment. You will have excellent Customer and solutions experience and be able to communicate effectively with senior decision makers. Experience dealing at C level is essential. You will be selling into the FCA regulated sector, managing and upselling to some of the largest financial and insurance companies in the UK so experience in this vertical is highly preferential.
