IT Sales – Strategic Account Manager – Business Intelligence Software

Role:

This award winning, business intelligence software author has been growing 20% year on year and due to further growth, they now require a confident and composed key account manager to join their account management team. In this role you will be a trusted advisor who is highly credible and be focused on managing a small number of key, strategic accounts across the commercial sector (e.g. automotive, retail, manufacturing etc.). You will be tasked with retention and driving new revenue growth from these accounts through cross selling our clients software licenses and services. Ideally, candidates will have experience of managing and developing large strategic accounts within the commercial sector and have sold software/SAAS or data solutions previously. It would be beneficial if you have come from the world of BI or data analytics sales or have sold into the automotive, retail or manufacturing sectors. Your strategic account management and relationship building skills together with your exposure to software sales will be put to good use in this rapidly growing and forward-thinking organisation.

Candidate Skills Required:

- Proven track record of strategic account management/development

- Experience in selling SAAS/software solutions into an existing customer base

- Sold into the SME/commercial sector

- A minimum of 5 years IT sales experience

Candidate Skills Beneficial:

- Degree educated

- Experience selling into the automotive, retail or manufacturing sectors

- Sold BI or data analytics software

- A stable career record
