DESCRIPTION

--The role can be based in London, Luxemburg or Berlin--

As a Senior Business Development Manager (BDM) for AWS Marketplace, you will help EMEA-based established software companies and emerging start-ups leverage AWS Marketplace as a new sales channel for scalable, global growth.

You will work with various teams across AWS to shape strategy, define the operational plan to drive EMEA-based software vendors to integrate their software products with AWS Marketplace, as well as enable them to build out their go-to-market through AWS. In this role, you will communicate complex business requirements from software vendors back to AWS Product Management teams and work closely with the internal teams to guide the direction of our product offerings. You will position AWS Marketplace for internal adoption and engage and enable the AWS partner field organizations and account management teams in order to drive value and marketplace selection for AWS customers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Very strong verbal and written communications skills in English
· Significant experience of working across the software ecosystem; channels and technology companies in a customer or partner facing role
· Strong understanding of cloud computing, SaaS business principles and practices, utility pricing models, and technology trends
· Demonstrated ability to engage and influence technical and business decision makers of software companies
· Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· MBA or Graduate Degree
· Fluency in additional European language(s)
· Prior experience in IT or Management Consulting firms defining and delivering transformation projects
· Experience working within a high-growth technology company
