Would you like to be part of a team focused on increasing adoption of Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the B2B software startup ecosystem? Do you have the insights, business and technical background necessary to help establish AWS as a key technology platform provider? As a Sr. Startup Account Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to help grow and shape the future of an emerging technology, and drive adoption of AWS in the most strategic late-stage B2B software startup accounts.
You will have a passion for the latest technology trends and work with customers that leverage state-of-the-art technologies on AWS to innovate and disrupt the B2B Software industry. The ideal candidate will possess both an account management and technology background that enables them to drive an engagement at the founder level as well as with software engineers and IT architects. He/she should also be a self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit who is prepared to work in a fast-paced environment, develop and execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver results.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Help to drive business growth and expansion in a defined territory.
· Collaborate with colleagues from across Amazon & AWS globally to execute against an annual sales plan and deliver value for our startup customers. Manage a named list of strategic accounts concurrently & long-term.
· Create compelling value propositions around AWS services for Startups, focused on the SaaS & B2B vertical.
· Moderate travel
Significant Sales, Account Management or Business Development experience in technology or startup related roles.
Experience in owning, managing and delivering against business needs.
Excellent written communications skills.
Bachelor's Degree in engineering, or computer science
Passion and interest in the latest Startup & technology industry trends.
Experience working at a B2B Startup or within a Startup related role a plus.
