Working a stone's throw from Waterloo Station you'll be providing excellent account management and business development services for a market-leading recruitment trade body in its commercial benefits division.

You'll be developing and managing commercial opportunities and be responsible for the sales of high value commercial packages bringing added value to clients and members of the body.

Description

The focus within the Commercial Benefits division is on growing partnerships and sponsorships. It's a hybrid role and so nurturing clients/sponsors/members is just as important as bringing on new ones.

  • Developing and managing commercial opportunities for the REC
  • Responsible for the sales of high value commercial packages bringing added value to clients and members
  • Sourcing leads, prospecting and building relationships with potential sponsors and partners
  • Building/maintaining database of prospects/clients
  • Selling in key benefits of the organisation as well as products
  • Key account management of existing clients
  • Generating high value revenue streams, negotiating and closing sales opportunities

Profile

Given the nature of the role, someone experienced in both new business development and also account management is needed, with a proven track record in exceeding sales revenue targets.

It goes without saying that they're looking for a fantastic communicator and a proven track record in consultatively growing client relationships.

  • Extensive experience of B2B sales of sponsorship, partnership sales, advertising or high value subscription
  • Creating and building high value sales packages to take to market
  • Identifying opportunities through a consultative sales approach
  • Development of long term relationships, together with negotiating with key senior level decision makers
  • Account management and delivery management
  • Tenacious and with an ability to build rapport, listen, adapt and improve to ensure developmental success

Job Offer

Our client are looking to pay £32,000 base salary and in year one you can expect to earn OTE £5K+.
