Specification Sales Manager – Terracotta Cladding

Job Title: Specification Sales Manager – Terracotta Cladding

Industry Sector: Terracotta Cladding, Porcelain, Natural Stone, Aluminium, Natural Material, Facades, Support Systems, Architects, Main Contractors, Specialist Cladding Sub Contractors

Area to be covered: London & Home Counties

Remuneration: £50,000-£60,000 + Bonus

Benefits: Executive Car & Full Benefits

The role of the Specification Sales Manager Terracotta Cladding will involve:

·        Field sales role, selling predominantly terracotta rainscreen cladding, but also a wider range of porcelain and natural stone

·        50% of your time focussed on winning specifications with architects (majority based in London)

·        50% of time specialist cladding installers/ sub contractors

·        Cradle to gave sales position, from winning the order with architects, chasing the process through to a main contractor and taking the sales through to the sub contractors/ installers

·        Minimal year one target (circa £150,000) as specification projects can have a lead time of 12-18 months (orders with cladding contractors can be closed in as little as 3 months)

·        Following up on leads, currently our client has more enquires than they can cope with, hence this person must be able to hit the ground running

·        50% new build, 50% refurbishment (replacing non A1 rated cladding systems)

·        Fantastic opportunity to utilise ideally situated London based design centre

·        Working on typical project sizes of 100m2-5,000m2, typically 2,000m2 (average order value £150,000)

·        Promoting multiple products from world leading manufacturers

 

The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager Terracotta Cladding with:

·        Must have proven field sales experience with rainscreen cladding systems

·        Must have sold terracotta rainscreen cladding products

·        Our client may consider stone or porcelain rainscreen cladding knowledge

·        Proven specification field sales experience with London based RIBA architects

·        Contacts within cladding sub contractors/ installers is not essential

·        Profit hunter

·        Commercial acumen to mix with installers on site and contract manager level as well as liaising with partners from major architect practises

·        Reliable, honest and high integrity
