Specification Sales Manager – Plumbing & Heating

Job Title: Specification Sales Manager – Plumbing & Heating

Industry Sector: Consulting Engineers, M&E Consultants, M&E Contractors, Architects, Specification, Specifiers, Water Treatment, Plumbing & Heating, Heating Systems, Plumbing Solutions, Boilers Treatment, Hot Water Systems, Hot Water Cylinders, Commercial Projects

Area to be covered: London & Home Counties

Remuneration: £45,000 neg (depending on experience) + circa 15% bonus

Benefits: Company Car & Full Benefits

The role of the Specification Sales Manager Plumbing & Heating will involve:

·         Field sales position, selling a high quality range of water treatment products that protect and clean plumbing & heating systems such as: hot water cylinders, boilers, heating systems, water heaters

·         All of your time will be spent generating specification on commercial projects with M&E consultants, M&E contractors, consulting engineers, architects, building owners and other specifiers

·         100% of your time focusing on commercial projects such as: universities, colleges, hotels, care homes, hospitality

·         Once up and running will be targeting to achieve £500k first year and from there on in year on year growth

·         Majority of your time will initially be spend managing existing account however once bedded in a large portion of your time will be spent generating new business relationships

·         Will be required to conduct monthly CPD presentations and attend commercially driven events

·         Proposal writing, negotiating terms and implementing contractual agreements

 

The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager Plumbing & Heating with:

·         Must have specification sales experience with M&E consultants/consulting engineers and M&E contractors

·         Must have experience within the plumbing & heating market sector

·         Knowledge/experience with related products such as: boilers, hot water systems, cylinders, water heaters

·         Preferably with industry contacts with M&E consultants/consulting engineers and M&E contractors

·         Commercial plumbing and heating background

·         Strong in prospecting, closing and growing new accounts
