Area to be covered: North & Scotland

Remuneration: £45,000 - £50,000neg (depending on experience) + 25% bonus

The role of the Specification Sales Manager – Plastic Pipework Systems will involve:

·         Field sales position, selling a high quality manufactured range of plastic piping systems such as valves, fittings and flow control systems

·         Majority of your time will be spent winning specification with consultants, OEM’s, contractors and large end users for the water utilities, pharmaceutical, chemical companies, food & beverage companies, factory services, marine markets

·         The remaining portion of your time will be spent protecting those specification orders through the distribution chain via mainly national merchants and distributors

·         Majority of your time will be time will be developing new business relationship

·         Will be provided with a fantastic internal sales team and Barbour ABI for support

·         Will be required to conduct CPD seminar and attend trade shows

·         Must have regular upkeep on CRM system

The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager – Plastic Pipework Systems with:

·         Must have construction field sales experience selling to consultants, OEM’s, contractors and large end users for the water utilities, pharmaceutical, chemical companies, food & beverage companies, factory services, marine markets

·         Must have a technical related product experience for example: plastic pipework systems, valves, fittings, flow control systems, pressure systems, dosing

·         Would consider someone with no field sales if you have extensive product knowledge

·         Ideally have contacts in the industrial services market

·         Must be able to work as part of a team and work autonomously

·         Must have the ability to read customer drawings

·         High level of ability in terms of numeracy, IT capability, communication & organisational skills

·         Work hard, play hard mentality, not someone looking for a milk round
