Remuneration: £50,000-£60,000 + 30% Bonus

The role of the Specification Sales Manager – Aluminium Systems will involve:
· Field sales project specification position, promoting a manufactured range of aluminium systems
· Targeting predominantly London based architects (minimal amount of time with main contractors and aluminium fabricators on a project by project basis)
· Selling a range of aluminium façade systems, curtain walling and aluminium doors & windows
· Provide field sales technical specification support
· Targeted to achieve London specification invoiced value of £2.5m-£3m
· Inheriting a healthy project bank circa £12m-£15m
· Average order value to our client (metal) £150,00-£500,000 (Projects sizes £8m-£9m)
· Access to a healthy volume of inbound enquiries, typically circa 25 per month
· Typical projects include education, high rise residential, commercial office, healthcare and education
· Working closely with another field sales professional responsible for managing the relationships with main contractors and aluminium fabricators
· Utilising in-house CRM system
The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager – Aluminium Systems with:
· Must have worked for an aluminium systems house in a field sales capacity
· May consider an aluminium fabricator background with design or estimating experience
· Strong technical/ engineering background, with the ability to understand geometric shapes and designs and an ability to offer product and project solutions
· Specification sales experience within façades or associated products would be ideal
· IT literate, CAD skills preferred
· Specific knowledge of curtain walling and aluminium doors & windows is not essential
· Ability to sell on quality over price
