create the homes they want. Join us as a Social Media Campaign Manager, and
you’ll help us speak to all these customers, all across the country.

B&Q has significantly increased its focus and investment into
campaigns and creative across Paid/Owned/Earned social media. You will be
responsible for executing B&Qs social media strategy and will be passionate
about social marketing and the eco-system in which it lives.

As Social Media Campaign Manager you will project manage social media campaigns
across all platforms for Paid, Owned and Earned activations. Working closely
with and managing B&Qs social media agencies, you’ll lead the social media response
to the integrated campaign brief; plan the Content and assets for all social
media platforms; ensure alignment of the creative approach with the campaign creative
direction; manage production and on time delivery of the assets; and manage the
measurement, analysis and reporting on performance.

As part of an integrated marketing team, you’ll strive to deliver
increased performance, campaign on campaign. You’ll maintain strong relations
with social media platform owners and identify relevant social media opportunities
that B&Q could explore as well as recommend action.

You’ll also lead one direct report who has responsibility for social
media asset planning and delivery, and for day-to-day management of our Social
Community Management agency (handling over 15,000 contacts per month).

With at least four years’ experience in a Social Marketing role in an
organisation that has a large and engaged social community of customers, you’ll
be genuinely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Social Media and its
potential – always keeping up to date on the latest Social trends, platforms
and campaigns. With excellent verbal and
written communication skills, you’ll be creative and have strong production management
and organisational skills.
