Snr Sales Executive/Manager (Advertising Sales) - London

£40 to £50k basic + commission (£20 to £25k)

My client, an independent marketing and digital sales agency is looking for a Sales Manager or a strong Snr Sales Executive to step up and help manage their portfolio. Strong agency experience, willingness to be out of the office and pitching their sites is a must.

Experience with mobile, desktop and video display advertising sales is essential.

The agency focuses predominantly on branded display sales, they work with advertising agencies and clients direct to offer digital media solutions across email, sponsorships, viral and consoles.

They are currently seeking a Sales Manager to join their team working on one of the UK’s largest online publishers. Their portfolio includes brands such as eBay, Sony PlayStation, Nigella, Sainsbury’s, Mysupermarket and many more.

Job Spec

Working across the agency portfolio, the primary function of this role is to ensure that all commercial opportunities are maximized and deliver the best possible financial results.
The role is client focussed and a strong agency contact list is essential.

To meet & exceed all business KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators). : Revenues and account management expectations
To establish pro-active business relationships with your clients and take ownership of your client base.
To drive the Agency/Publisher’s business forward by providing market and client feedback
To generate creative ideas to further business objectives and build additional revenue streams.
To work with the ad ops team to ensure that all campaigns are fully optimised
Management and guidance of Snr Sales/Sales Executives

Skills and Experience (essential):

Experience with mobile, desktop and video display advertising sales (minimum 3-5 years)
Understanding of audience extension and preferably experience in selling
Extensive contacts and networks with both traditional agency buyers and programmatic desks.
Experience managing sales people and co-ordinating with other teams (e.g. ops and account management as well as finance and bus dev).
Excellent written and oral communication and proposal writing skills.
Ability to create and maintain excellent client relationships.
Experience of presenting to groups at Director Level.

Desirable qualities:

An understanding of the programmatic landscape and experience with different SSPs and tech platforms (e.g. Rubicon/Appnexus/AdX/ShareThrough/Sovrn/Sublime Skinz/etc)
Familiarity with hot topics in direct sales (e.g. GDPR, Viewability, Cross-device/Cross-platform user matching, etc)
Experience working with different business units (e.g. ops, finance, etc)
Experience with partnership deals and working closely with publishers on integrated campaigns
