We are looking to expand our Sales team with people who share our determination to succeed and love working in a team. Our sales team are self-motivated with a professional attitude. With this in mind, we are looking for passionate ski or boarding sales people or ski seasonaires with a real desire to drive our business forward. By providing excellent service and expert knowledge to customers and agents alike, you will be proactively converting enquiries into sales, and your passion for ski means that you will be meticulous in providing all the information our customers need to choose their perfect ski holiday.

Work to sales targets to ensure maximum sales revenue and margins
Handle incoming enquiries through telephone calls, emails, and chat to assist customers in choosing and booking holidays
Support agent partners to maximize their sales
Identify customer needs and pro-actively sell additional services e.g. lift passes & ski hire
Pro-actively use product knowledge to support switch-selling techniques and maximise enquiry conversion rates
Use internal computer packages to make reservations, administer bookings/queries, make amendments, or reply to customer correspondence
Complete booking administration related to customers’ holidays, in line with Company and ABTA guidelines and timescales
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with the Operations team and the Overseas team, to ensure strong and consistent teamwork
Represent the Company at key marketing events e.g. ski shows
Minimise losses to the Company through due diligence and attention to detail
Any other work as may be reasonably asked by the Company
Essential Skills and Attributes
Competent in sales and customer service
Effective at selling over the telephone

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Capacity to co-ordinate and prioritise multiple tasks

Competent on Microsoft applications and comfortable learning new computer systems

At ease working with numbers to work out accurate pricing
Proactively using all sales leads effectively
Good knowledge of major European ski resorts
In our peak selling period (November – March) we operate a shift system between 9am - 8pm 7 days a week, with reduced opening times at the weekend
Shifts will be allocated on a rota basis in advance (lieu time is given when working week-ends)
