Job Title: Showroom Sales Assistant (Kitchen Appliances)

Location: Heathfield, Newton Abbot, Devon.

Salary: £22,****** to £23,712 plus sale incentives, employee discount, and pension.

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time or Part-Time (pro-rata) - Up to 38 hours per week (5 out of 6 days, Mon - Sat)

Dealing with all the major manufacturers allows us to offer a wide range of products to choose from, with 12 kitchen displays at both stores and over 1000 appliances on display.

About the Role:

You will play a key role in maximising kitchen appliance sales and providing first class customer service within the Company's Heathfield, Newton Abbot branch.

To become part of the sales team you'll need to be able build lasting relationships with customers and take real pride in your work. It goes without saying that you'll be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail, drive and energy.

You will spend time with customers, get to know their needs and lifestyle then offer advice and help with selecting the best appliances for them.

Responsibilities:

• Serving retail customers, providing product information, closing sales and invoicing
• Answering telephone enquiries and responding efficiently to customer issues
• Dealing with customer service issues and maintaining records
• General showroom housekeeping and pricing duties
• Monitoring supplier orders and keeping customers informed
• Picking stock, filling the showroom and loading customers vehicles
• Working as part of a team

Key Skills and Experience:

• Previous retail experience
• Strong customer service ethics
• Exceptional people skills
• Great IT skills an advantage
• Kitchen appliance / industry knowledge is beneficial
• Good organisational skills
