What you will do
The Sales engineer position is an exciting Sales role that reports directly into the Sales Manager for the UK&I Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) business.

This is a great role at an exciting time of growth within JCI. The role will focus on sales via the end user and you will have existing customer accounts to work with. You will also help Johnson Controls to grow their service base by finding new customers. You will be targeting upgrade, service and maintenance contracts across your network of customers and contacts within the HVAC sector that translate into profitable growth. You will also have access to a new innovative product that will help you to differentiate when offering JCI contracted services . You will develop, communicate, and implement a comprehensive plan to grow the entire service base across your region.

How you will do it
As an Sales Engineer you will be able to operate independently and be customer focused. You will understand your customer base and work to align their needs with our products and services. You will have the ability to build relationships that can develop and expand your portfolio. Your exceptional communication skills will help deliver a positive impression of JCI as we aim to grow and develop this area of our business. You will identify new customers and sales across your region.

What we look for
The successful candidate will have previous HVAC experience as either an engineer or in Sales
Sales experience within the building solutions industry
Technical knowledge within the refrigeration industry is desired
Experience of the YORK product is preferred but not essential
Strong communicator with a proven track record of developing sales within a commercial environment
Ability to manage and influence both internal & external stakeholders at all levels
