As a Service Manager you'll be responsible for managing the delivery of services to clients in your portfolio, plus you'll actively develop new business across the Central region.

My client are a market leading provider of business insights and consultancy to enterprise and growing businesses.


  • You'll directly engage with ambitious CEOs and MDs of high growth mid-market businesses and play a key role in developing our mid-market CEO client community
  • You'll work closely with the lead Partner to deliver on the business plan for the office
  • You'll manage and lead on client engagements, including working with the client and the delivery team to identify the critical business activities to be undertaken to support clients in achieving their growth objectives
  • You will work closely with our community of Growth Advisers to ensure clients benefit from their experience of leading growing businesses
  • You'll work closely with the Analyst team to scope and ensure timely delivery of insightful, high quality deliverables
  • You'll manage preparation for engaging client meetings, ensure appropriate and timely follow-ups, being sure to keep the entire client delivery team updated
  • You'll host and facilitate client workshops, making use of the toolkits designed to meet the needs of the client community
  • You'll ensure all client deliverables are subject to the agreed internal review process and meet service quality standards
  • You'll work closely with the national team, local colleagues and Growth Advisers to ensure the service is promoted effectively both internally and externally
  • You'll spot opportunities to cross-sell other company service lines


  • You'll have previous experience of advising clients on strategic matters relating to growth (minimum criteria)
  • You'll have experience of managing client relationships and influencing C-suite level individuals (minimum criteria)
  • You'll have high attention to detail and will be numerate and commercially aware
  • You'll have excellent analytical and presentation skills and be a strategic thinker
  • You'll have the ability to identify new business opportunities

You should be commercially focused with the ability to deliver innovative solutions. You should be focused on self-development as well as having the desire to coach, mentor and develop your colleagues.
