SEO Account Manager -  London

The Role

As the SEO Account Manager at Big Rock, you’ll be responsible for overseeing a selection of their largest accounts and will have a remit to build a team of SEO Executives capable of delivering award winning campaigns. You’ll work alongside senior management which means your confidence and hands-on approach will be essential for your success.

Key responsibilities

  • Complete ownership of client relationships, SEO strategy and campaign delivery
  • Working with content creation team to deliver high quality SEO optimised content
  • Working alongside Senior Management to expand business opportunities
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments
  • Responsible for training, progression and personal development of junior members

 The Person

The key skills and responsibilities of a SEO Account Manager:  

  • Minimum of three years’ proven experience working in a fast-paced agency environment
  • Minimum of one year’s proven line-management experience
  • Confident, comfortable and professional when communicating with clients and third-parties
  • Advanced understanding of key SEO tools required to conduct keyword research, technical audits, content audits and reporting such as ScreamingFrog, SearchMetrics, Linkdex etc.
  • Working understanding of measuring and analysing organic performance using analytics platforms such as Google Analytics
  • Understanding of using Search Trends, Demographic and User-behaviour data to reinforce strategies
  • Strong Excel skills – ability to use vlookups and pivot tables
  • Solid understanding of the workings of HTML and CSS
  • Experience working with B2B or financial clients
  • Understanding of JavaScript, Flash and HTML5
  • Understanding of programming languages such as PHP
