Introduction

A Senior Training Consultant
£30,506 - £44,065 per annum (dependent on current salary and banding) on a 6-month fixed term contract.
Flexible base location with travel across multiple locations required

We’re recruiting for a highly credible individual to join our Learning & Development team in People & Culture.

Part of the Design & Innovate team, you’ll be an inspirational role-model. You’ll lead on projects that modernise our existing portfolio of learning, working closely with stakeholders and working with a multi-disciplinary team to lead the project through design and pilot. You’ll be part of a team that drives the L&D Learning Strategy so will have a developed understanding of modern learning and industry trends and technology.

We are looking for an individual who is experienced in:

* Project management (large or small scale)

* Creating engaging content across a variety of learning solutions

* Using a training framework, with knowledge of the training methodology

* Engaging and motivating the team they work with

* Working with multiple projects, workstream and stakeholders

Who we're looking for

* Have L&D design experience and used to working across a wide blend of learning solutions

* Have experience of consulting with key stakeholders around the full training cycle, to consult, design and deliver highly effective blended learning solutions Have L&D design experience and used to working across a wide blend of learning solutions

* Have experience of successfully developing and managing learning projects through to completion

* Be extremely resilient - working well with ambiguity, in a fast-paced environment where change is constant

* Have a strong understanding of effective learning with an ability to think creatively

* Have experience of leading initiatives to drive efficiencies

* Share your expert knowledge of learning trends and innovations within the wider L&D profession

* Have strong stakeholder management skills and can build and influence effective relationships quickly with colleagues across multiple business areas

* Be a confident communicator who can provide expert and professional L&D consultancy, and make commercially focused recommendations

* Have a curious mind, be comfortable challenging the norm and be a proactive problem solver

* Have experience of optimising learning through the delivery of blended solutions

It would be nice if you had:
• A CIPD or relevant business/professional qualification
• Experience of working in a Financial Services Retail Network

What you'll be doing

Your role in the Design & Innovation team will be to modernise existing training programmes into campaign style learning. You’ll also support the delivery of the learning strategy and help us bring to life the future of learning. To do this you’ll:

* Oversee the modernisation of existing training programmes

* Provide expert L&D consultancy to stakeholders

* Design and build modern blended learning solutions

* Use the training framework to manage the campaigns through to completion

* Have an appetite to keep up to date with L&D developments across the wider industry and look for ways to continually progress our offering to drive improvements and efficiencies

* Champion the use of modern learning tools within L&D
