DESCRIPTION

At Amazon we continually look for opportunities to invent on behalf of our customers helping them to find and discover virtually anything they want to buy online. We are in the process of building a range of advertising products that enhance customer experience and are integrated with our core ecommerce platform. Please note that this role is initially a fixed term contract lasting 12 months.

A strategically important part of our advertising platform is Amazon cost per click advertising. Products currently available include Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands, which allow our advertisers to increase the discoverability of their products on the Amazon platform and targets ads by shopper search keywords. We have built a new team who own the advertiser success on our cost-per-click program. This team works directly with our top advertisers to assist them in meeting their strategic objectives and develop strong feedback mechanisms to inform and influence the product road-map.

As a Advertising Account Manager you will work closely with our top European advertisers and have direct responsibility for helping them optimize their cost per click advertising campaigns. You will manage a portfolio of advertisers and use both qualitative and quantitative expertise in order identify opportunities and increase performance across the UK. You will share your learning's globally whilst your efforts will drive advertiser commitment, revenue growth and product improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
· Manage a portfolio of advertisers using business analyses to proactively identify and realize opportunities to increase performance
· Assist advertisers to reach their performance goals quickly and efficiently
· Engage with local and international stakeholders communicating your strategy and reporting on performance
·Customize and create optimization proposals that are meaningful, compelling and relevant to your advertisers

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience in digital advertising and client facing roles with a focus on data analysis
· Bachelor's Degree
· Experience with annual brand planning and media planning
· Proven advertising work experience, ideally in an online, retail, e-commerce or advertising agency and specifically online marketing
· Comfortable with client interaction, data analysis and working autonomously
· Proven ability in managing projects or complex client relationships
· Excel in a rapidly changing and at times ambiguous environment.
· Bachelor degree in business or related field
· Proven English skills – both verbal and written.
· Outstanding MS Office skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Proven track record working with customers, creating and communicating business recommendations
· Data driven and “quantitative” mentality with an ability to back up ideas with facts or examples
· Experience in Search Advertising
