DESCRIPTION

Are you ready to help Amazon build a new business? As a Senior Account Manager on the Services team, you will help grow and communicate Amazon's Services vision. This individual will be responsible for managing existing Seller accounts in the UK (Service Providers), as well as recruit and onboard new Sellers. They will work with accounts to ensure they optimize their offering and fulfil orders for customers in alignment with the Amazon quality bar. This position will help to continue to define the policies, practices, and training that underpin this program to ensure both Seller and Customer have a perfect fulfilment experience.

You must be an experienced account or partner manager who has a proven track record of owning and managing large, strategic accounts with strong business development skills. You should be comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and determined in how to execute quickly, clear roadblocks, and use data to inform your decisions. Any applicant should be extremely passionate about a perfect customer experience and polished in regards to working with external partners. This is a unique position in that it operates in a uniquely innovative business at Amazon that requires both creativity, problem solving and execution skills. While initially an individual contributor role this could develop into an opportunity to manage a small team down the line.

Key Responsibilities:
· Manage on-boarding, expansion opportunities and on-going training of Service Providers and their employees or subcontractors
· Conduct regular reviews with Service Providers and partners to deep dive on their performance and gain their feedback
· Conduct research, identify and engage new account leads and assess their fit for Amazon
· Communicate the benefits of the program and working with Amazon to accounts
· Work with internal stakeholders to give partners a voice back into product features and operations

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Several years business experience in either seller, vendor/account, or partner management role
· Proven experience in a business development role
· University Degree
· Excellent communicator both verbally and written with an ability to communicate with all levels in the organization (technical, business, executive)
· Proficiency with MS Excel
· Some SQL knowledge preferred

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, quantify impacts, and uncover key insights for improvement
· Proven ability to think and act both strategically and tactically
Professional traits that are not unique to this position, but are necessary for Amazon employees:

· Has relentlessly high standards (is never satisfied with the status quo)
· Is able to dive deep and is never out of touch with the details of the business
