Senior Sales Manager, International Sales, based Chepstow. Monmouthshire. £65,000 to £70,000 Basic with incremental steps to raise this to £80,000 over 18 months upon meeting milestones, Six figure Management Bonus + Executive Car + Excellent Benefits Package. As part of a major reinvestment, our client is looking to recruit an exceptional Senior Sales Manager to drive their growth internationally.
This is a Sales Director Designate role and the key basic criteria that we are looking for are:
+ Technical sales experience - ideally in an engineering/industrial or construction environment
+ Sales Leadership of internal and external sales teams - recruiting/driving/coaching/mentoring, etc.
+ A 'hands on' approach to both sales and people-management. This is not a solely strategic role, i.e. please do not apply unless you are prepared to deliver your own sales remit.
+ International Sales Exposure - setting up and managing agent/distribution networks, etc.
+ Strong Strategic ability - a proven record of delivering business growth by taking a business from x to y, possibly backed by a formal qualification, such as an MBA
+ Structured sales understanding perhaps formalised by having received recognised sales training. Also, experience of introducing or working with formal sales measures, structure and processes such as KPIs is required.
+ Experience working in a smaller business, i.e. not all experience from within large corporates.
You will set the strategy and delivery model to achieve growth. You will recruit the talent required to deliver on your plan and drive the implementation on the ground. Significant resource will be made available to you and you will have the full cooperation and support of the board and the wider business to deliver on your joint ambitions.
