Our client are a leading professional body in the HR and people development space looking for a Senior Sales Consultant in London.
You will have a background in HR, have extensive consulting skills and will be tasked with proactively approaching heads of HR, HR Directors etc. to provide consultancy services.
Headquartered in South West London and first established, our client are a leading professional body in the HR and people development space.
Having been established over 100 years, are client now have circa 150,000 members and are experts in providing professional training and accreditations linked to learning and development (L&D).
You will be responsible for establishing B2B relationships with HR Directors, heads of HR and a range of other people development and L&D contacts.
You will be proactively approaching appropriate stakeholders to provide and introduce consultancy services;

Given that this role is as important as it is to our client, they have been clear with us on exactly what candidates need to be experienced in and thinking of when considering applying. A hard sales approach is absolutely not going to work as this role is all about establishing long lasting relationships. Commercial acumen is needed as is a presence and gravitas to present in an enthralling and engaging way.
You need to able to understand what's on the mind of a HR leader and evidence how your services can assist. Strong examples of business development around consultancy are needed as are examples of where relationships have been forged from a blank canvas. You must be a solution provider and be considerate of an in tune to how you can support your clients from the off.
Our client are expecting to speak with candidates commanding a base salary of circa £60-70K.
