Senior Business Development Manager, SaaS and Consultancy into Public Sector, London. £75,000 to £85,000 Basic Salary, £105,000 OTE. Dealing at very senior levels, this is an exciting and varied role selling high-value software and consultancy services into Government Departments.

The role is managing the business development team of two (one SDR and one tender writing/bid management/research) and is a combination of spearheading large wins and sales management. It requires an extremely polished business developer that is multi-skilled with that rare combination of drive and gregariousness backed by excellent organisational skills and a diligent approach.

To apply:

+ You must be a business developer that is a Public sector expert that completely understands Public Sector Frameworks.

+ You must have experience of selling SaaS or complex consultancy solutions such as L&D, HR Consultancy, Business Information, Research, Employee Engagement Solutions, employee recognition programmes, etc.

+ This is a strategic business development role so you must have 'hunter' qualities.

+ You must be used to selling into very senior levels within the public sector (C-Level).

+ You must be passionate about the Public Sector, understand the current challenges and frustrations and have a consultative, relationship-oriented approach to sales.

The role is operating from home with occasional visits to the London office (post-COVID). The offices are in a marque building where the environment is professional yet relaxed. The firm is a non-hierarchical environment where there is a great team spirit. In usual times, an emphasis is placed on collaborative working and quarterly team-building events, often including partners and families.

They describe their culture as a 'family' where everyone helps each other, and there is no internal politics or infighting. The package includes generous holiday entitlement, private health and a company pension. While not everyone's 'cup of tea' they hold facilitated meditation sessions twice per week with a focus on mental wellbeing and stress management.
