Senior Sales Account Manager - SW London

Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 OTE £60,000

The Company

Our client is an industry leading creative exhibition company, their team of event professionals are devoted to designing powerful exhibition experiences.
Due to continuing success and in line with their sales and marketing strategy, our client is seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager who will develop strong long term client relationships whilst generating new business opportunities.

The Role

This is a senior level, client-facing role suitable for a diligent and highly motivated individual to further their career in sales and account management. We are looking for an individual with a consultative-style approach and at least two years previous experience either in the exhibition or creative industry.

Key responsibilities:
• Developing and identifying new sales opportunities using own initiative
• Working with existing clients accounts and developing the relationship
• Handling incoming leads and assessing potential
• Evaluating client requirements
• Meeting potential clients and obtaining design requirements
• Interpreting customers design requirements and briefing internal design team
• Preparing quotations, tenders and presentations
• Negotiating and closing sales effectively
• Briefing project team with clients requirements

Essential Requirements

Our client requires an experienced professional individual with a consultative-style approach and at least two years previous experience either within the exhibition or creative industry.

Key Skills
• Experience working with clients and project management team throughout entire project
• Ability to develop a strong long term client relationships through excellent relationship management to ensure excellent client experience by visiting exhibitions to oversee installations and work
• Self-starter and able to work under own initiative
• Excellent IT skills and above average in Excel, Word, Power point, etc.
• Excellent presentation skills and confidant to present at Board level
• High levels of attention to detail and good problem solving ability
• Confidence to liaise with senior level clients with complex requirements
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once working to tight deadlines
• Experience in exhibitions required
