As a means to support the expansion of demand for our work and support, we are hiring a Senior Learning & Development Consultant, to be based in our Singapore. Reporting to the Director of Learning and Development, Asia Pacific and Latin America, this individual contributor role will lead and execute on a number of important coaching and team development initiatives at Facebook, across all functions and geographies in the APAC region.
Partner HR Business Partners, Sales Leaders and L&D colleagues regionally and globally to identify ‘root cause’ current and future business needs that leverage the core of our learning programs, frameworks and other best practices to help individuals and teams excel.
Facebook teams are dynamic and growing rapidly. Structures are evolving, and this role will focus on working and coaching personally (consult/design/facilitate) with high priority intact teams to ensure they are and remain as effective (impact, engaged, innovative) as possible.
Provide 1:1 executive development advise for and partnering with business managers and leaders, especially as it relates to their personal as well as organizational needs and the subsequent needs of their teams to learn, grow and thrive.
Design and execute innovative ‘out of classroom’ executive learning that enables building a continuous learning culture and that supports leaders getting just in time, just enough and just-for-them learning
To be successful, you will need to roll up your sleeves, and get things done quickly. You will need to be both effective in articulating complex strategies/concept well and be reliable and effective in personal execution. We believe in ship and iterate, not prepare for perfection.
You should have strong L&D experience, but you will need to let go and (ideally will already have experienced the limitations) of the ‘learning happens in a classroom/workshop’ and ‘L&D control what and when people learn’ philosophies. Our mission is to connect people who have something to teach with those who are ready to learn
To be successful you will need to get energy from continual close partnerships with L&D / Learning colleagues and HR Business Partners.
You will need to prioritise and manage your time and energy expertly, there will always be too much to do.
You will need to be part of many teams and have the passion to deliver with and through others – and build great relationships along the way. Facebook runs on communities and these will be key to your success
You will need to be able to handle continuous change and ambiguity and make decisions based on incomplete data. We are building as we scale!

15 + years’ experience in Learning and Development / Coach / Team Development capacity
The successful candidate will be a seasoned learning practitioner with a solid and proven track record in:
• Impact focused senior leader level Individual and Team Coaching
• Creating and sustaining impact-focused relationships with senior leaders (including coaching, presenting, influencing and contracting)
• Excel in learning culture organizational design and out-of-class learning transformation
ICF Coaching certification is highly advantageous
Additional certifications with psychological diagnostic tools and industry-recognized certifications for well-established content programs are also desirable
The region has 18 offices across APAC and international travel will be required
