Senior Business Development Manager - Digital Transformation, DC and Cloud Services Consultancy

 

£120k Basic, £200k OTE plus car allowance and benefits

 

Based London and Home Counties

 

 

Our Client is a Global Systems Integrator (SI) who supply integrated Infrastructure solutions incorporating Connectivity, Digitalisation, Cloud and Security. Their aim is to fully digitalise their clients, offering high value cloud solutions to Global partners worldwide. They are seeking to grow their UK Sales team, selling into UK Headquartered businesses and therefore need an additional Senior Business Development Manager.

 

 You will be responsible for identifying and approaching a number of verticals which include Retail, Travel and Transport, Manufacturing and Insurance. The typical sales cycle is 9 months and the AOV will be above £4M. Selling DC and Cloud solutions, you will act as a company evangelist, pushing our client's brand and its capabilities into the UK market space. This will potentially include speaking at industry events, executive level presentations on strategy, technology and business adoption and thought leadership on the advancement of their Enterprise Services.

 

The ideal applicant will be able to navigate working for a large global corporate. You will be supported by a large internal team, bid managers, technical experts, service delivery etc. The suitable candidate will also be used to working with a number of SaaS partners who will assist in putting together the customer propositions. You will need to understand and have experience of taking the customer on the digital transformation journey with our client's data centres in the UK and Globally, which can offer a full range of Private/Hybrid/Public solutions. 

 

Your ideal background will be at least 5 years in a senior Business Development Sales role within a Global systems Integrator. A Graduate, you will have excellent technical knowledge of SAP, DC, Cloud Solutions and Application Hosting. You will have a good knowledge of public cloud providers (e.g. Amazon, Microsoft, Azure etc) and excellent relevant experience in a Sales role within an IT Services organisation or Cloud Provider.
