Description

As part of Challenger's core business unit, Senior Business Development Managers drive results within the large enterprise market across EMEA. By interacting with the highest level of decision-makers, at some of the world's most renowned companies, they must apply strategic thinking to complex problem solving. They work in an exciting, fast-paced environment surrounded by talented and motivated colleagues who thrive on helping executives solve their most pressing business challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise sophisticated buying groups - the solutions you will sell will help companies implement and sustain the approach that can be found in their best-selling book The Challenger Sales.
  • Exceed revenue goals by closing new client accounts across EMEA.
  • Create lead generation campaigns to prospect and build new business.
  • Work cross-functionally with team members.

Profile

The successful Senior Business Development Manager should have the following skillset:

  • Possess 10+ years of sales experience in a consultative, B2B environment with proven success.
  • Thrive when selling to C-level executives and sophisticated buying groups.
  • Motivation to go and create new business off their own back.
  • The capability to manage longer sales processes with multiple stakeholders involved.
  • The ability to identify and resolve complex problems in a timely manner.
  • Interpersonal skills - focuses on solving conflict and keeps emotions under control.
