Amazon Publisher Services (APS) helps publishers of all sizes and on all channels better monetize their content through effective advertising. APS unites publishers with advertisers across devices and media channels. We work with Amazon teams across the globe to solve complex problems for our customers. The end results are Amazon products that let publishers focus on what they do best - publishing.

As a Senior Business Development Manager you will:
· Drive strategy, adoption, and growth of our industry-leading solutions for mid-sized publishers (video, display, multiple new solutions)
· Oversee strategic partnerships and cultivate relationships and influence at the senior leadership level within our publisher partners
· Lead strategic initiatives across the broader organization
· Meet or exceed monthly global adoption targets for publisher solutions and business acquisition efforts
· Evangelize APS value proposition to drive adoption of key offerings
· Drive go-to market strategy and successfully launch new publisher solutions
· Translate market feedback into product requirements, and collect market intelligence to help guide the overall direction of the program
· Innovate, develop, and iterate on solutions based on customer feedback
· Influencing senior leaders across Amazon by aligning with Amazon’s core principles to proactively communicate program vision, customer impact, progress and plans.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business or other related field
· Experience in a client facing role (business development or account management) at a technology or media company
· Relevant programmatic advertising experience
· Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and executing strategic business agreements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Deep understanding of publisher monetization strategies and programmatic space
· Proven ability to solve complex business challenges
· Strong business development skills
· Strong persuasion skills with ability to drive consensus across multiple stakeholders
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively communicate across a broad range of technical and non-technical people
· Track record of organization-level influence
· Technically competent with a strong understanding of online advertising technologies
· Balance high-level strategic thinking with hands-on tactical work to get things done quickly while maintaining high standards
· Data driven and “quantitative” mentality with an ability to back up ideas with facts or examples
· Successful track record of developing, iterating, and growing new global business initiatives
· Entrepreneurial mentality
· Excellent project management and organizational skills
