Our client are a market leading professional body for human resource management professionals in need of a Senior Business Development Manager/Employer Solutions Manager.

With a background selling into HR stakeholders ideally and with an understanding of HR functions/L&D, you'll be holding key account management responsibilities whilst also engaging in new business development activities centred around professionalising HR functions.

Headquartered in Wimbledon, our client offer a range of bespoke services to their clients/members from training through to assessments - anything that focuses on professionalising HR functions.

Description

  • Increase the reach and influence of the business in building capability and creating learning cultures from mid-sized organisations to key national and multi-national enterprises
  • Key account management responsibilities
  • Develop and manage key accounts from mid-range to large multi-national and national clients
  • Develop long term sustainable relationships and revenue via framework agreements where possible
  • New business development activities where the complexity of the relationship or opportunity requires consultancy skills
  • Maintain effective targeting and pipeline management processes
  • Support the creation of new revenue generating B2B services and the enhancement/blending of existing 'Employer Solutions' services
  • Engage in a wide range of networking events to build relationships with senior HR professionals

Profile

  • Degree educated and able to deal with multiple issues, assuming a detailed or conceptual/strategic perspective as required
  • An understanding of L&D and HR markets with stong consulting skills
  • Someone who has sold into HR stakeholders
  • A proven track record in business development, building key accounts and customer relationship/account management
  • Consultative style suited to a professional services/B2B environment
  • Good knowledge of working with UK organisations ranging from FTSE 100 to mid-sized, nationals and multi-nationals
  • Highly competent when pitching and proposing/negotiating with senior key decision makers and stakeholders

Job Offer

Our client are looking to pay £48-54K base salary with OTE circa £5-8K in addition.

You'll be working in a highly collaborative and autonomous environment where flexible working is actively encouraged.
