Senior Business Development Executive

You’ll be researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing. Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings. Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.

Senior Business Development Executive Responsibilities:

  • Researching key decision makers in your solutions sector and preparing your own quality leads.
  • Contacting new key decision makers and past opportunities, by telephone,from the existing database of most relevant names/contacts which the marketing department has selected.
  • Focusing on one solutions sector to become an expert in that field. E.G. CIO - Cloud Sector
  • Presenting the platform & services using the professional tools they provide.
  • Working in a collaborative team of 4-8 professionals to exceed sales targets.
  • Continuing to develop and learn from both formal training, on-the-job coaching from your manager and from the world’s leading business thinkers at our events.
  • On occasions, attend various Summit's to assist as part of the 'On-site' delivery team, providing excellent service to attending clients.
  • Liaise and feedback with Line Manager & Sales Director on new opportunity development.


Senior Business Development Executive Requirements:

  • A background in sales, business to business is preferred.
  • Proven ability to continually close sales and upsells.
  • Confident and outgoing personality.
  • Ambitious and self – disciplined.
  • Good time management.
  • Excellent Telephone Sales and Customer Service.
  • Able to handle rejection.
  • Confident to travel globally.


Desirable:

  • A background in Events Industry.
  • B2B Sales.
