Why this role matters

An exceptional opportunity to be part of the BT Group Customer Billing - Credit Risk and Fraud Team, supporting and protecting the growth of the Consumer business with focus on all products from Mobile, Fixed Line, TV and Home Broadband.

Working closely with the rest of BT Group Consumer Acquisition Risk team, and the wider Credit Risk and Fraud department, supporting the Senior Business Partner and the Head of Consumer Acquisition Risk by acting as the bridge between Application Risk and the EE Lob Commercial Trading and Marketing teams to influence proposition development, sales and marketing acquisition initiatives and performance against P&L deliverables aimed at improving the overall new customer acquisition strategy profitability and customer order journey. The role holder will build and evolve stakeholder relationships and reporting capabilities to provide meaningful insight and analysis to help understand and manage the customer risk quality, alongside the fraud and early churn exposure across the product lines to optimise the risk reward balance.

Support the implementation of Acquisition Credit Risk & Fraud strategy and policies by working with other areas across the BT Group and external suppliers.

What you'll be doing

 Experienced, flexible and driven Senior Analyst level with a detailed background in analytics, credit risk, cause and impacts on churn, and budgetary forecasting
 Experience of high volume consumer Credit Risk Acquisition systems and decision engines
 Proven ability to manage all aspect of a high volume consumer portfolio
 Experience in the Telecommunications domain preferably within a Credit Risk role
 Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
 Clear evidence of managing senior stakeholders and influencing senior management decisions
 A strong team player with good motivational skills
 Strong knowledge and experience of using SAS
 Excellent VBA and Excel skills
 Demonstrates an innovative approach to Acquisition Risk management
 Degree level or equivalent experience in a financial or business specialism
