Our client is a global business with a family heritage. The company supplies over 10,000 product lines covering dress up, wigs and make up through a network of independent retailers, wholesale and direct to customer through a strong web presence. A significant part of the business both in terms of UK and rest of world is driven by the work of their National Accounts Team.

Here the primary focus is on their strategic relationships with multi-national retailers supplying best-in-class private label dress up, accessories and value-added sales as part of a long-term partnership.

Working closely with the Head of National Accounts and the Account Managers / Execs, this role serves as a linchpin in the service they provide to key high-level accounts ensuring that all areas of service delivery to NA clients is seamless, effective and ever-creative.

Numerically-minded and able to provide key data insights into all assigned accounts, you will ensure that profitability and margin expectations are met across the whole range along with an eye on delivering creative and innovative solutions for clients. Essentially, you must manage the balance between new business generation and providing outstanding service to ensure that they retain existing customers.

Candidates will have proven experience of operating at Senior Account Manager / Account Manager level in a business to business setting, ideally in a fashion, dress up, multi-product sales (general merchandise), although this is not essential.  Excellent negotiation, communication and sales skills are key, and you must be capable of altering your style to deal with everything from challenging internal client scenarios to price negotiations; thriving under pressure and supporting team members in constructively managing their pressures.
